THE KKZ PROGRAM DIRECTORS & COMMITTEE
PROGRAM DIRECTOR & INSTURCTOR: April Buscher is the program director, instructor, and choreographer. She designed and established the program in 1999.
Outside class time April enjoys spending time with her family, working on her online business, camping in the summer, attending church events, and when free time is spared, keeping in touch with people on Facebook.
PROGRAM ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: Janae Salazar is one of the first parent leaders to step into the program as a volunteer. She is assigned to maintain our bookkeeping, records, organize show dates, phone calls, organzing fundraisers, and more.
Janae has a passion for scrapbooking spends her time attending special Olympics wiht her daughter Makayla along with attending church and keeping all five of her girls busy!
PARENT LEADERS: Each of
our class require parent leaders, these are parents that
volunteer in certain areas for each class. Without leaders,
makes it very difficult for the instructors to stay focused
on the kids and session, and interacting with parents.
CLASS LEADER: Class leaders communicate
with parents, record information in student files, send
out notices, updates white boards and announcements, and
attends and helps with line up at the shows.
FUNDRAISING LEADER: Our fundraiser leaders
focus on motivating, preparing, sending out, and collecting
fundraisers. KKZ program is 100% based on volunteers and
non profit program. Fundraisers are used to help pay for
supplies, outfits, shoes, costumes, and items needed to
run the program.
BOOKKEEPING LEADER: Every class needs a
bookkeeper to record payment for individual students of
each class and record fundraiser payments.
STUDENT LEADERS: We offer several opportunities for our members in the Intermediate and Advanced classes.
STUDENT HELPER/ASSISTANT: Newer members
of the program should be minimal of age eight to start off
as teacher assistants and helpers. The goal is to give them
guidance, direction, and skills to help them with the next
level.
STUDENT TEACHERS: Students should be minimal
of age twelve to become student teachers, they will direct
and choreograph for classes assigned based on their level
and years of experience.
